Average Girl Reads is a blog about books from an ordinary reader's perspective. I don't have a college education or any experience as a book critic. I'm just a person who likes to read. My reading material is varied and the blog will reflect that. I will be delving into the classics that I never read in high school, but I will also cover lighter fare such as chick-lit. How-to books and young adult novels frequently find their way onto my nightstand, and I will be sharing my recommendations from those genres. You probably won't agree with my opinions 100% of the time, but hopefully, they will at least make you think. Let's get to reading!
